A Message to the Indigos

For those of you under the age of 30 you are probably an Indigo. What the heck does this mean? It means you have a responsibility to wake up the world. You are the ones who are going to stop the insanity of what is and restore balance to the crazy treadmill that most adults are on. You are the ones who recognize the patterns, the chaos and the sheer madness of the way most of your parents live their lives, the treadmill of consumption, and the way in which we are destroying our planet and our lives.

Your children will not have children unless you remember who you are. You are on this earth to create change. And massive change at that. You might be asking, 'How can I create change?' Your an Indigo and you already know how. All you need to do is follow your gut feelings, pay attention to the signs and do what feels right.

Back in the 60's the youth rebelled, smoked pot and created change. You however are smarter than any generation before you, are more gifted and talented than any generation than before and you know it. It's time to step up to the plate and take a stand for what you believe in.

The way to do this is by peaceful, meaningful and impact oriented expressions of who you are. For some it is through art, dance, music, orating, or technology. You are excessively talented in one specific area and when you hone your gifts in this area you will discover that you have something to say, you need to be heard and YES you will do whatever it takes to get your message across.

The time is NOW for you to remember who you are. Wake up to your fullest sense of self, get out of your own way and do what you know you want to do. Ask for support, collect with others and find a way to do what you love.

Know that the current system places limits, lies and labels on all of us and it is up to you to change the rules. Follow in the footsteps of Jack Johnson and make music that speaks of the truth. Each one of you gets it and bears witness to the audacity of the insanity of what is. Take up the challenge and know that you have the answers. You are here to heal, protect and create change.

Know that I get it! I see the restraints you are faced with and I know you want to buck the current and don't know how. Wanting to do something when your told by adults to do the opposite. Well, most of your parents are living in the old paradigm so it is up to you to tell them what you want. Tell them you want to express yourself creatively and ask for their support.

When you act from a place of respect for yourself, others and the environment you are more likely to win over the favor of your parents. Talk to them, teach them, and do what you know feels right.

You are an Indigo. You are here for a reason, you have a purpose and you must step into the outrageous and fabulous you that you know you are. I get it! I really do! So, step into the spotlight and get on with it. Know that you've got your back covered!

Charlie Bartlett

The epitome of what it is that we have done to our kids. The movie that I recommend to all adults and all youth. Why you may ask? Because it defines the experience of what so many kids are experiencing and the insanity that they are confronted with. Dramatic maybe...somewhat real... you bet!

We wonder why youth today are so rebellious, reactionary and are demanding reform. A bunch of rowdies who are here to wake us up to the insanity of the world. This movie is the perfect example of how the adults are attempting to tell the youth how to be in this world and the way the adults are dealing with what they witness as insubordinate behavior is by putting more rules and restrictions on them.

The movie highlights the brilliant intelligence of one young man, Charlie Bartlett, who has found out the secret to solving all of our problems, listening.

And in case you didn't hear it the first time allow me to repeat myself. LISTENING! Our children and our youth are screaming at us and no one is listening. A fact in the matter is the increase of prescription drugs that are being pushed on our children and our youth. Labels such as ADD and ADHD are plagued in schools around the country.

The reality is that these kids learn a different way and they are a heck of allot smarter than the lot of humanity and they are the ones who are going to bring solutions to our global problems if and when we create a safe space for them to do so.

Ask yourself this? When you were a kid did such labels exist? Were you prescribed medication to keep you numb, dumb and manageable. I think not. So why the heck would you want to medicate your children. WAKE UP PEOPLE!

The insanity in what we are doing to our children and youths infuriates me to the enth degree. Please parents read about the Indigo children, educate yourselves as to the genius that exists within the kids and please, please, please listen to them.

Our future lies in the hands of our youth as they are the ones who see what is so incredibly wrong on the planet, and some of them are just reacting to the insanity that they experience everyday. Others so desperately want to share, be heard and express themselves creatively and we as adults are the ones who are holding them back from their full potential.

If this was my last bog ever written, and I've only just started to rant, however if it was my last blog, I would beg and plead with adults to let the children be children, allow the youth to be themselves and do whatever it takes to create a safe place for these Indigos to express their unique ideas, thoughts and solutions.

Mark my words that I am personally committing to assisting these kids in any way, shape or form that I am able to. Whatever it takes these kids need to be heard, seen and acknowledged. Parents, teachers and educators please wake up and learn about your kids. Love them, listen to them and be there for them. Because they are on a mission and it may just save the world.

Transition

When we find ourselves in a place of transition it can at times feel frightening, scary and downright terrorizing. Know this to be true. We create experiences in order for our soul's advancement so when we find ourselves in situations that are less than undesirable it is an opportunity for us to grow spiritually if we are open to acknowledge the lesson that is meant to be learned.

For many of us we find ourselves recreating the same challenging situations over and over again. The same type of yucky job, the same uncomfortable relationship, the same...the same...the same. In consideration of this fact know that there is a lesson of great value that once observed, acknowledged and healed we will evolve ourselves into new situations to learn different lessons.

A new found sense of peace, compassion and love can be found when we become still and be true to ourselves as to why we are creating the same situation over and over again. In moments of mediation, contemplation, and self care we can allow ourselves to become fully aware of the healing that is required and are able to push thought what can be repetitive discontent.

In acknowledging Einstein's definition of insanity, that being doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, we can see the obvious in that we must break the pattern and do something different. So, take time to observe what is in misalignment, spend time with it, allow yourself to fully feel the pain so that you can disassociate and create a new reality for yourself.

It is from challenges that opportunities are created, if this is the way in which we choose to view the yucky stuff that shows up. So know that all challenges are a means of transition towards that which is your destiny and the life that you desire to live. Be bold, be big and stare challenges in the face knowing that you are in a transition phase. A much better place than being stuck in the muck.

The Moon

Our lives are parallel to the moon
Sometimes waxing, sometimes wanning
Quarter...half... full...new

Like the moon our lives change
Phases they drift from one to the next
Spring...summer...fall...winter

Glowing in clear skies
Hiding behind clouds
Dark...light...full...bright

Steady the moon is when storms come in the night
When daylight does break we give up the fight
Pushing...pulling...dipping...curving

The man in the moon, the Goddess she calls
Both coexist to bring peace once and for all
Mysterious...curious...tempting...knowing

Our lives are parallel to the moon
It needs us and we need it
Careful...cautious...revered...distant

Expect Miracles

In the continues search for answers, some understanding to the chaos called life came from an unexpected source yesterday. In turning to my bookshelves my gaze feel upon a book that has sat unopened for many years. After numerous books read, many being returned to the used bookstore it would seem that this one particular book has been waiting patiently until the correct moment in time to truly reveal itself.

Yesterday, I opened to the introduction and was pleasantly surprised to read of a humans parallel story of trauma, turbulence, and decisions that left one searching for answers. This individual after leading an unconscious life for so many years, found her answers in a book. Not just any book, but a handbook, a manual for the most precious commodity that we have, life.

As I began to read a huge sense of relief came over me. In the introduction of this book mention was given to the book the Mists of Avalon, the mythic tale of King Arthur and the enchanted Isle of Avalon where priestesses once cohabited alongside mortal men. It speaks about a magical islands that unless the mists part the treasures that lay beyond are inaccessible. What one requires in order to experience the isle is to see beyond the limitations of our physical world and to have faith. To believe that it is real.

Once we believe, then miracles happen. 'A parting of the mists, a shift in perception, a return to love.' Hence the title of the little book that sat patiently on my shelf for more than ten years, A Return to Love, by Marianne Williamson.

As I sat and pondered this brief introduction it became quite evident that this is the answer to all questions...LOVE. For when we make decisions based on love, act upon love and share love, we can truly expect miracles. With faith all things are possible, we just need to believe and we need love. We need to love ourselves enough to make decisions that serve not only ourselves, but those around us and all living things. Love is the answer to every question, every time in any circumstance.

With a new understanding of the term love it begins with self care. It begins by loving oneself, mistakes and all and accepting that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. When we do things from the place opposite of love, that being fear we make unconscious decisions in the moment that we hope will have a positive outcome.

So, with this deeper understanding of the term love it is now time to consciously act upon it. Choose love in all cases and in all times. When we become still, we recognize if we are coming from a place of love or fear and we are then able to make decisions accordingly. Be in love with yourself, the world around you both physical and non-physical and be in love with love. And most importantly expect miracles.

Proof of Angels

I now truly believe that we are among angels and that they walk on earth. In the darkest night of the soul I asked God for a sign today. A sign that we are not alone on this journey called life. In asking I received the answers because I was open, aware and have faith. I had 3 angels show up in my life today, and sure enough all three of them checked in. Having no clue what is up in my world and how dark things really are, I received emails from 3 people whom I know to be angels.

It is in times of darkness that when we surrender to Spirit that the answers come in mysterious ways. We just need to be open, we need to open our hearts. We need to believe that there are angels on earth.

I too am human, I too make mistakes, and out of desperation I made a decision that felt like the only way out. And now I have hurt people closest to me. I am sorry, I repent for I too am human. In my place of surrender I put my faith in Source trusting that somehow, someway all will be well. So, I went searching for more angels today and I found one in the most unexpected place...on the street....begging quietly for money.

His name starts with a J and in search of a friend I listened to him. Heard his story of how he wants to work yet an injury to his foot has him out on the streets. Down on his luck, with nothing but a pack on his back. He begged for money to buy medicine for his foot only to have it stolen in the night a few days after his wound started to heal.

His gaze was of sadness and yet when I crouched down beside him I saw something in his eyes. A survivor, a fighter, a man in disguise. He said to me thank you as I dropped a few coins. He just like me needed a friend. Desperate for touch I gave him a hug, was it for me or for him, I'm uncertain of why.

However, I know we have angels among us. They come in different sizes and shapes, different packages, different colors, different woes. So, as I walked away with the stench on my clothes I am reminded of how truly fortunate I am to have all that I do. And I know we have angels among us.

Intuition...and Surrender!

Interestingly enough I have experienced the profound deliciousness of listening to my intuition. Please know the relevance and heed sincerely to my call to please, please, please always listen to your intuition. And surrender the the little voice that suggests to you to let go.

A few months ago during the spring I felt called in more ways than one to let go of all courses and seminars that I was offering for the summer months. Reluctantly I did just this, and went against what the business industry would not have me do. Instead of keeping myself in the lime light, I have retreated. At the time this made no sense however, in lieu of my current reality I know why I was told by the voice to do just this.

I am currently undergoing what Eckert Tolle calls AWAKENING and during this time for someone who is as outgoing as me and loves to be with people I am experiencing the exact opposite. I have become a recluse, spending time meditating, reading, painting and walking my dog in the nearby park connecting with nature.

My only real outside connection to the world is via WAKE UP WORLD on Voice America and this blog that you are reading. I consciously screen my calls, protect my vibration and choose to trust that the Universe is offering to me exactly what needs to take place in order for me to emerge as a bringer of light to the planet...aka...a definition of my higher purpose.

So, as such in observation of what is in my life at this exact moment I could easily discuss the final blow of rejection that I experienced yesterday, however I know the Law of Attraction so it is better for me to say thank you for the freedom of integrity which now is attempting to find a peaceful place in my heart.

Moving forward only the Universe knows what is in store for me however I have the one thing that guides me and it is very strong. It is faith that moves me forward. It is faith that there is order in the Universe and that since I have committed my life to the service of humanity that I am being tested on all levels in regards to my degree of faith.

So, my gift in learning some powerful and more than unpleasant lessons is to share with you the knowing of the intensity of intuition. For many months now I have been making decisions without always listening to my intuition. However, when I have listened to that voice the flow of life seems to make more sense. It is when I have done things that feel less than good that the chaos has occurred. I trust that I have learned the lesson to always follow my heart and in turn may I share the same lesson with you, for no other reason than to spare you from the many pains I have experienced as part of my awakening.

Living in the Park

Sometimes I wonder would it be easier to live in the park. To be at one with nature, the open air and the quiet solitude of self. To be a free spirit, to be at one with the ebb and flow of life, to be content without time.

I know of such a man and at times I envy him. He sits in stillness for a passerby to connect and graciously accepts hand outs for food to sustain himself. He asks for nothing yet warmly shares smiles with those who look in his direction. When a shoulder is needed he offers it, when an ear is required he listens and when words of wisdom are desired he shares openly his gift of knowing the truth.

Once a man in the corporate world he broke free from the limits, the lies and the labels. He gained freedom, maintained his autonomy, and choose quite consciously to live a life of peace. For his days are leisurely, with endless possibilities, tied to nothing other than the land.

Some days are harsh due to rain, wind and cold. Sometimes the hunger in his belly is unbearable. And sometimes the cruelty of his fellow man is the most unbearable of all. However, the simplicity of it all at times must be joyous. No cell phone, no bills, no commitments, no responsibility. No time clock, no boss, no dictator telling one what to do.

On the flip side of this freedom from mass consciousness one has to ask is it escapism, turning a blind eye, or just running away? Hum...a question to ponder, and at times, I wish I had time to ponder such questions. However, my cell phone is ringing, my daytimer is full, I have bills to pay, and responsibility to all.

So, for now this contemplation subsides as I choose to be part of the game called life. The life in the park just isn't for me in that I enjoy a hot bath, warm sheets and the comfort called home. I admire my friend in the park and as he reminds me that for him it is easy and for me it isn't the life.

When I asked him why it isn't for me, he pauses, looks into my eyes and says, 'Your a woman that's why. It's much harder for a woman to live in the park.'

Uncertainty?!

When times of complete uncertainty arise what does one do? This question is in the forefront of my mind in that I have jumped off the cliff and I am unsure if I am flying or falling. In knowing the concept of the Law of Attraction and the teachings of Abraham it would seem that to be the flow is the obvious answer. However, when one is in the process of living life and requiring the means of economic support one must find ways to integrate oneself into society. Or do they?

In retrospect when one has an understanding that they have had a spiritual awakening in the manner that Eckert Tolle describes in his book A NEW EARTH, how prudent is it to think that one needs to live on a park bench in order to climb out of the hole they are in.

This concept seems to me highly undesirable and yet when one feels that they are completely disconnected from their reality, that their entire world has been turned inside out, and that the only way out is to surrender one needs to ask,'What exactly does surrender mean?'

Surrender to God/Source/Spirit they say. Hum...should this be easy? One would like to think so however, when reviewing the lives of the master teachers it is quite relevant to say that many if not all of them suffered somewhere along their journey. When is it that one feels like they have hit rock bottom? How dark does it need to get before one crawls out of the confusion and moves towards light? And why is it that this road is lonely?

Many questions arise during times of uncertainty. Answers are to be found in the silence they say. Well, how much silence does one need to experience the stillness? How can one possibly be still when one has a day job in order to feed and clothe themselves and their families.

Is it with reckless abandon that we go postal, and do harm to not only ourselves but others in the moment of breakdown? In desperate search for these answers it is with deliberate intention that I ask for answers for all of humanity and the for the sake of those who are awakening. Can it please be simple, a little easier and somewhat more graceful!

Until that time of perpetual stillness one must remind themselves....just keep breathing. For as long as I am breathing I am a spiritual being having a human experience.

URGENCY...Part 2 Words, Thoughts and Deeds

To continue on the theme of urgency we must consider that because we are all energy and that EVERYTHING is energy that therefore there is energy in words, thoughts and deeds. In our everyday experiences we unconsciously use words that have a negative or lower vibration. Words like hate, punishment, brutality and the such like all have a negative vibration.

When we use these words, because they are all energy, we have thought thoughts in our minds, both subconscious and consciously, that are of a positive or negative vibration. So, we perpetuate the reality of our own individualized worlds based on anger, fear and frustration or of joy, peace and bliss.

Our thoughts and our words are turned into deeds and these too are energy. Therefore our deeds are negative or positive. When we do something in physical reality to another human and are thinking negative thoughts and are faking something like a smile the true essence of the energy behind these false pretenses is still recognized by the Universe.

So, the obedient Universe consistently matches our vibration so it will continue to give us more of the vibration that we are emanating. Everything is included in your vibration so my invitation to you is to become conscious of the words , thoughts and deeds in which you partake. When you catch yourself saying, thinking or doing something that doesn't feel good, and you will, in that exact moment of awareness, choose different words, think different thoughts, and act in accordance with that which you desire.

The urgency in regards to these 3 items of energy comes down to the reality that our planet is sick, dying and is being destroyed by the words, thoughts and deeds of humanity. Greed, corruption and self serving ideals have become the mainstay and the pursuit of more our reality. This concept when taking into consideration can seem to be extremely daunting when one begins to think, 'Well, what can I do?'

Begin by being gently with yourself, with others and with the words, thoughts and deeds that you allow yourself to experience. As with all new habits this takes time so, once again allow yourself to take baby steps in moving towards the direction of change. In moments when you are making decisions ask yourself will this decision benefit me in the long term? Will it benefit my family, my community and the global humanity at large?

To many this may seem like a far fetched idea however as we are all energy, every decision does count. Each random act of kindness builds upon itself, and when we begin to experience the deliciousness from making decisions consciously we shift our own energies from being part of the mass unconsciousness to being part of enlightened humanity that is making a global difference.

Gandhi said it best in his words of BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD! When we become open to the reality that we are accountable, responsible and must be conscious, we immediately become aware that there is so much more to life than the 3 dimensions we experience. Be open, be aware and be free when you become conscious of your words, thoughts and deeds. And yes, there is urgency...for it must happen NOW!

URGENCY!!!

When I speak to you of urgency it is because we must take immediate action. We must wake ourselves up to the reality that we are destroying Mother Earth and that individually we must make a conscious effort to do whatever we can to protect, heal and renew the earth to her natural state of health.

Simply stated it is fact that there is toxic chemicals being pumped into the atmosphere, we are therefore breathing toxic chemicals, and we are consuming toxic chemicals. We must also add that we are washing our clothes in toxic chemicals, putting toxic chemicals on our skin and contributing the the toxicity of the planet with the words, thoughts and deeds that we unconsciously perform each and everyday.

So, to briefly observe what is, we need to identify what the problem is, so that we can bring it into our conscious mind in order to take appropriate action, NOW! The question arises for many, 'So, what can I do differently?'

First things first that new habits take time to become the new way so babysteps are in order. Begin by educating yourself on the foods you eat, the home products you use and the toxins that exist within your own home. A great first step is to buy toilet paper that has been made from recycled paper. Then move towards eliminating harsh chemical cleaning products and turn towards healthy alternatives.

For your body choose creams, lotions, shampoos and conditioners that are made from pure plant essences and that are made with natural products. Consume local, organic foods and allow your diet to consist mostly of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Drink lots of purified water and educate yourself about holistic lifestyles.

Theses are some basic steps that each one of us can take to begin to bring the planet back to its natural state. The concept reduce, reuse and recycle sums it up in 3 easy to remember words.

So, yes there is a sense of urgency and when we all become conscious of our choices we will not only personally benefit, but our neighbors around the world will. Make a choice today to be part of the solution.
